The VII International Seminar of the UNESCO Chair will take place during the second week of October 2010 and the topic will be Mobile Learning. In the seminar, we will discuss and analyze this emerging phenomenon from three different approaches: academic, technological and cooperative.
At the academic level, we will focus on the possibilities that mobile learning offers as a formal and informal learning tool. In the technological approach, we will present the newest mobile devices and we will discuss about the level of influence that technology has in the learning processes.
Last but not least, mobile learning is strongly connected to cooperation with developing countries as mobile phones have revealed as an empowering tool for people living in these countries to give them access to knowledge.
The seminar will make a special call to present mobile learning experiences for our demo session and will pay special attention to those demos related to academic and cooperative experiences.
